Re/Max Almanor Properties wants your vacation experience to be a life long cherished memory for all members of your party. Please contact us for knowledgeable assistance in planning your vacation activities. We can provide you with current local information, brochures, restaurant menus, and area maps so you can take full advantage of Lake Almanor water sports, recreational opportunities, and community events. Our office is located at 313 Peninsula Drive in Lake Almanor, and we are open 7 days a week from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Reservations:
For information and reservations, please call our office at 800-360-5478 or email us. Rental vacation homes are rented for a minimum of one week from Saturday to the following Saturday during the Summer season. Exceptions can be arranged for customizing your vacation or holiday get away during Spring and Fall seasons. Check-In time is between 4:00pm and 5:00pm and Check-Out time is 10:00am.

Deposit:
A Reservation/Security Deposit of $300 per week is required to confirm reservations. When requesting reservations, please also choose other vacation rentals as alternates in the event that your first choice is unavailable. Requests for reservations will NOT be confirmed until your deposit is received by our office. Make checks payable to RE/MAX ALMANOR PROPERTIES.

This deposit confirms reservations and may also be used towards payment of sums due such as returned check fees, repair damages, cleaning premises, etc. Also, this deposit is forfeited if rules, regulations, and/or policies are not followed.

Provided the rental property is left clean, there are no damages, no items are missing, and all issued electronic gate cards are returned, your Reservation/Security Deposit or a portion thereof will be refunded to you by mail within 21 days of departure.

Full Payment Due:
The full balance (deposit, rent, and 9% Plumas County Transient Occupancy Tax fee) is due in our office no later than 21 days prior to check-in. Make checks payable to RE/MAX ALMANOR PROPERTIES.

Check-In:
Check-In time is between 4:00pm and 5:00pm at Re/Max Almanor Properties office at 313 Peninsula Drive. At the time of Check-In, you will receive the keys, and if applicable, Lake Almanor Country Club electronic gate cards. Although we like to personally meet and greet each of our renters, we have systems in place for arrivals after 5:00pm.

Check-Out:
Check-Out is completed by returning rental keys, and if applicable, electronic gate cards to Re/Max Almanor Properties’ office by 10:00 a.m. Late Check-Outs are subject to daily prorated rent. The premises must be left in a clean and orderly manner. Before and after each rental guest, the rental property is inspected inside and outside for cleanliness, damages, and missing items. For your convenience, we offer Check-Out Cleaning Services for a minimum charge of $75.00. This service is optional and you must request it in advance. Cleaning charges will be deducted from your deposit.

Cancellation:
45 days or more prior to arrival date = Refund of all payments except a $15.00 cancellation fee.
21 to 45 days prior to arrival date = Forfeit your deposit.
0 to 21 days before arrival date = Responsible for full amount of rental.

Important Information:
Our homes are furnished but sheets, towels, paper goods, or soaps are not provided. Tenants must bring their own linens (sheets, towels pillow cases, kitchen towels, etc.). Pillows and blankets are provided for you. For rentals with a BBQ, wood stove, or fire place propane and/or fire wood are also provided.

To maximize your vacation experience at our mountain paradise retreat here at Lake Almanor, rules have been established by property owners, property management, country club community, and condo associations. These rules are in place to ensure your leisure time enjoyment while preserving our environment and the safety of everyone. Please read and review the rules below and those to be provided regarding a Lake Almanor vacation home rental. Also, please make sure that all members of your party are familiar with the rules too.

Occupants shall properly use, operate and safeguard the rental property and shall immediately notify RE/MAX Almanor Properties of any problem, malfunction, or damage.

The Maximum Occupancy for each rental home is clearly stated in each property description contained in all advertisements. Do NOT exceed the stated maximum occupancy. Every person staying in our rental homes counts -- even children. The TOTAL number staying in the home at any one time may NOT exceed the maximum occupancy or you will be asked to vacate the premises and subject to deposit forfeiture.

Pets are NOT allowed at any time. If this rule is abused you will be asked to vacate the premises and subject to deposit forfeiture.

Smoking is NOT permitted in rentals.

When using telephones in rentals, please call collect or use your credit card. Renters will be liable for all long distance and internet connection charges made during their stay.

Tent campers, tents, or recreational vehicles including boats and boat trailers are NOT allowed at the rental properties. Contact the management of Peninsula Sports & Marine at (530) 596-3822 to arrange parking for your boat trailers. Peninsula Sports & Marine is located at 321 Peninsula Drive next door to Re/Max Almanor Properties. If you are bringing a boat and are not renting a home with a boat slip, other docking slips can be reserved by calling Big Cove Resort at (530) 596-3346 located at 442 Peninsula Drive or Knotty Pine Resort & Marina at (530) 596-3348 located 430 Peninsula Drive.

No more than 2 boats per lakefront home. Jet skis are NOT allowed on docks or walkways.
Lake Almanor Country Club (LACC) Rentals:
Guests of rental homes located inside LACC are allowed access to their facilities as long as LACC rules are adhered to by each guest. All rental guests must comply with the Lake Almanor Country Club Association Rules and Regulations which will be provided for your review. As a rental guest, you will be expected to register with the Country Club and abide by their rules.

Facilities for the enjoyment of LACC members and rental guests include a 9 hole golf course, 7 tennis courts, 2 recreation areas. Each recreation area offers unique amenities such as barbeques, picnic tables, volleyball courts, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, badminton areas, shuffleboard courts, sandy beaches, play equipment, boat launches, swimming areas, and bandshell. LACC charges a registration and recreation use fee of $6.50 times the maximum occupancy of the rental home plus $30.00 per boat per week fees due 2 weeks prior to arrival. LACC docking facilities are located in both recreation areas and are Day Use Only.

Entrance gates to LACC are located at 600 Clifford Drive and 501 Peninsula Drive. The Clifford Gate, or upper gate, is staffed 7am to Midnight from the middle of May through Labor Day. At all other times the hours are 7am to 6pm. The Peninsula Gate, or lower gate, is staffed from May through September from 7am to 5pm. Entrance to LACC after staffed hours is by electronic gate card. A fee of $100 will be charged for each lost or misplaced electronic gate card to LACC.

Non Country Club Rentals:
Rental homes not located inside the Lake Almanor Country Club are permitted use of the golfing facilities.

Condominium Rentals:
All rental guests must comply with the Condo Association Rules and Regulations which will be provided for your review.
